You will be responsible for enhancing the residential device platform, which will be deployed to more than 100 million devices, creating an extensive network/IoT ecosystem for end users and ISP operators. Leveraging your expertise in embedded systems, you’ll play a key role in building an exceptional ecosystem.  In this role, you’ll design, implement, and optimize embedded software features, while developing white box testing code on platforms like Linux, PRPL, RDK, and OpenWrt. This position focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing customer-returned products and Core Systems–built servers. Resume Required. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on returned computer systems, servers, and components. Process RMA units through inspection, testing, and documentation. Repair hardware at the system, component, and board level when required. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action reports for customer returns. Work closely with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement. Maintain accurate service records and ensure timely turnaround of customer units. Qualifications Proven hands-on experience repairing computer systems, servers, or related IT hardware. Strong knowledge of hardware components (motherboards, CPUs, memory, storage, power supplies, etc.). Experience with diagnostic tools and test equipment. Ability to read schematics and follow technical documentation. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under time-sensitive conditions. Performs routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on transit buses, trucks, automobiles, and related equipment as well as assist other mechanics with more complex repairs to comply with manufacturer specifications and schedules.  Perform all routine, preventative and general maintenance on all BT vehicles to comply with manufacturers specifications.   Prepare work orders and maintain records of labor and usage of parts, supplies, fuel and tires.  Protect and secure parts, supplies, and maintenance facility.  Assist with inspection of department vehicles and equipment; perform weekly maintenance such as washing, greasing and checking fluid levels.  Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust and repair/replace lighting, electrical, mechanical, air conditioning components, including but not limited to seat inserts/cushions, ad racks, interior and exterior panels not requiring fabrication and applying touch-up paint on all transit vehicles.  Replace water pumps, generators, light bulbs, switches, tires, air systems, steering components, batteries, body interior/exterior panels, change oil, engine and transmission fluids, change oil filters.  Candidates will be required to obtain a CDL through our in-house training program.  This is a second shift position; starting wage $20/hour Apply now in 2 minutes!
