Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and possess a diverse skill set that includes various trades such as plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and machinery, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Technician will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks on construction sites, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Engage in plumbing, electrical work, and fixture installations as required by projects. Execute carpentry tasks including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, door hanging, and cabinet installation. Carry out concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, plastering, and stucco applications. Participate in hardscape projects and restoration efforts as needed. Utilize heavy equipment for site preparation and material handling when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential. Proficiency in using bluebeam software for project management is preferred. Strong understanding of construction estimating practices. Familiarity with various construction techniques including roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, caulking, and glass installation. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
