The Massage Therapist is responsible to ensure our members and guests receive a warm, friendly, and professional interaction on every visit. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide massage services to members and guests to help them live well. Rate of Pay: $7.00 per hour plus commission on Spa services, and 10% commission on Spa products sold. Schedule: Nights and Weekends. Wednesday: 3:00-8:00pm Thursday: 3:00-8:00pm Friday: 3:00-8:00pm Saturday: 8:00am-5:00pm Job Responsibilities: Deliver a high level of hospitality & integrity, while providing a world-class experience, to help our members live well. Treat members, guests & employees with fairness, integrity, positivity, and consistency. Ensure a positive client experience at all contact points. Deliver consistent, professional services which may include but not be limited to: warm greeting, beverage offering, initial consultations to ascertain clients’ wants and needs, confirming comfort levels, showing interest in the client, and performing various massage services. Understand client’s mood for conversation versus relaxation. Ability to do customized modalities, including deep tissue, Swedish, therapeutic, sports. Discuss any concerns and preferences prior to beginning service and refuse services if skin or body does not appear to be healthy enough to withstand service. Strong time management skills. Maintain proper sanitization of hands, tools, and equipment used. Maintain cleanliness standards throughout shift of designated station(s) or room. Support the Spa Manager/Director & staff in daily operations. Attend trainings and meetings as scheduled. Requirements Must be authorized to work in the USA. We use E-Verify. Must ensure Massage Therapy license is active and current. Must have previous experience in a luxury spa. Ability to perform customized massage including deep tissue sessions. Ability to work well with others under pressure. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Schedule flexibility. Must be able to lift up to 25 lb. Ability to grasp and reach, sometimes above shoulder level Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch. Ability to make movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.
