ShareJob Summary Dental laboratory in Elmhurst seeking a detail-oriented technician who will be responsible for the fabrication of dental models. This position can be part time and the hours are fairly flexible. Experience in a Dental Laboratory or Dental Office is necessary. Ideal employee will need to be able to work well with their hands using small instruments with a very high attention to detail and accuracy. On-site training will be provided. Prospective employee will have the opportunity to learn other aspects of the process to work more hours and have other roles in the fabrication of dental restorations. Workplace is an open, bright office where employee will work independently. Friendly, easy-going work environment but work quality must be excellent, and candidate must be highly dependable. Hourly rate dependent on prior related work experience. Vacation time and IRA are available after one year of full-time employment. Responsibilities • Fabricate dental models made from dental stone and 3D printer. • Utilize precision instruments to ensure accurate fabrication of dental models. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. • Opportunity to learn other aspects of the process to work more hours and have other roles in the fabrication of dental restorations. Skills • Exceptional manual dexterity for crafting high quality dental products. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Must be able to work in standing position for extended periods. • Demonstrates commitment and dependability. • Knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology is helpful for effective communication.
