This position requires independent repair shop experience with an emphasis on foreign cars, great attention to detail, and computer skills. Fundamental responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Maintain organizational skills and pay attention to detail. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Implementing productivity in a changing work environment. - Understanding automotive problems and services by listening to customers' descriptions of symptoms, clarifying issues, conducting inspections, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, and researching service schedules. - Prepare repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtain approval signatures. And enter repair orders into the service database system. - Draft estimates by parts, supplies, and labor and calculate a customer's payment, including deductibles. - Maintain automotive records by recording problems and planning corrective actions. - Compensation is based on experience; reimbursement of relocation expenses for the right candidate will be considered.
