Up for sale is "Taz the Toyota" a 1986 Toyota Pickup Extra Cab with the legendary 22R engine,5 speed manual transmission, solid axles and 35 inch tires. All the basic amenities work, lights and turn signals, gauges work( no tachometer) functioning doors and windows( rear center slider is Plexiglass), radio with 4 speakers and extra toasty heater/ defroster. 227k miles on the dash( not sure of the accuracy) This 22r has the E-choke The 22r is in strong running condition, starts and drives around town as a light duty daily driver. Leaks a bit of oil but always kept topped off. I do not know if it will pass CO emission I've never tried. The rear driveshaft is pretty noisy and could use a new custom driveshaft for more polite on road mannerism, but has functioned fine as is for thousands of miles. ( The LED pod's in the pictures will NOT be included in sale) I've owned this truck for about 5 years and have undertaken numerous projects to keep this truck functioning and reasonably healthy, its far from perfect and has plenty of old truck quirks, but at its core its a well built adventure rig with the iconic style and reputation of these late 80's Toyotas. It's incredibly capable 4x4 that has far more rock crawling and hard 4-wheeling capabilities then I've ever used. I used it more as a light duty work truck and weekend warrior rig on mostly green and blue rated offroad trails and roads. This came from NM and is almost entirely rust free. I have a variety of paperwork and receipts from myself and the previous owner showing thousands of dollars in recent parts and labor.
