Gate Officers- Unarmed (Compton)

Attention: Unarmed Security Officers! **MUST HAVE A VALID GUARD CARD AND CA ID IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED! ** North American Security and Investigations (NASI) is hiring professional Gate Officers positions in the Compton area. We are looking to fill full-time positions in Day, Swing and Graveyard shifts. Start Rate: $16.50 per hour (set rate, non-negotiable). Pay rate will increase to $17.00 per hour when training is finished AND evaluation test is passed. Requirements/Qualifications are outlined as follows: Guard Card CA State ID Social Security Card High School Diploma or GED Veterans provide a DD 214 form Must be able to speak, read and write in English Excellent customer service 1 year Security or Loss Prevention related experience preferable but not necessary Work experience in logistics environment preferable but not necessary Role and Responsibilities: • 3A3P Compliance • Assisting co-workers as needed • Available for Overtime / Holding post up to 4hrs as needed. • Checking All vehicles upon exit of property (includes personal vehicles) • Completion of All applicable post logs (seal, manifest, code 6 issues and bobtail log) • Completion of DAR • Completion/Submission of Incident Reports as needed. • Documentation of 10-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch breaks • Identification / Notification of Seal Discrepancies • Inbound/Outbound of units via Tablet or via manual log when necessary. • Inspection / Reporting of damaged equipment • Maintaining a neat workspace / Disposing of personal trash before end of shift. • Maintaining proper Access Control • Professional communication/correspondence with Drivers, Customers, Co-Workers and Management • Release / Regiscope procedure for pick-up of loaded units • Reporting Lock inventory to Field Manager • Securing Inbound Loads • Standing/Walking for extended periods • Verification of all applicable inbound/outbound paperwork (destination/unit#/seal#) • Verification of all empty inbound/outbound units (may require opening trailer or container doors) • Verification of all inbound/outbound units physical info (tractor#/unit#/seal#) • Visitor Protocol (digital or manual) per site requirements. • Compliance of all policies, protocols and procedures as described by Employer and/or the customer which are subject to change without prior notice. **MUST HAVE A VALID GUARD CARD AND CA ID/DL IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED! ** Anyone interested in applying with North American Security and Investigations (NASI) can submit a resume here.
