HIRING ASPHALT DUMP TRUCK DRIVER (Davisburg)

*HIRING DUMP TRUCK DRIVERS* Davisburg, Springfield Twp, Holly, Ortonville, Goodrich, Grand Blanc, Flint, Clarkston, Waterford, Pontiac, White Lake area preferred but if you are willing to commute our shop is 16206 Dixie Hwy in Davisburg, Michigan, 48350 Looking for CDL B or A drivers to drive a dump truck (Tandem, Triaxle, Quad) for a small family company. Hauling asphalt experience preferred but we will train the right person. There is no labor involved, only hauling asphalt from the plant to the job site. You will dump asphalt into a large commercial paver while being pushed. You should be familiar with not rolling out of the paver and being able to apply the correct amount of brake pressure while going up or down with your dump box. Schedule is 6 days a week Monday-Saturday. 10-12+ hours per day. Avg. 60-70 hours each week. Start time is always between 5:00am-7:00am. End time is typically 5:00pm-6:00pm but can be as late as 9:00-10:00pm if jobs need to be finished. It could also be as early as Noon some days and we usually don’t work on rain days. We also have all major summer holidays off Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day. Pay is negotiable and very competitive with annual bonuses and incentives. This is a seasonal full time hourly position with the opportunity to go full time salary. Trucks are all newer Allison automatic transmissions. Very comfortable and easy to drive. You will have your own truck with cold Air conditioning for the season. You will be responsible for keeping the truck clean and doing pre trip inspections every morning. We fix truck issues asap as long as we are made aware of them. Must be very punctual as showing up everyday and making your scheduled load time at the asphalt plant is very important!
