CDL Class A OTR (over the road) Truck Driver up to 65cpm $2000+ per week $ great pay ! Mid size over the road trucking company have over the road reefer position open. We operate reefers thru out Midwest, East and South. We do not run West Coast or NYC. Looking for experienced and reliable drivers that can stay out 2 weeks. You can take truck home for your home time. Will pay up to 65 cent per mile with 50$ per stop, $20 detention per hour and $150 layover for a day if it happens. If you run full week and drive over 3000 miles this is $2000+ check. We are busy and have consistent freight and customers and not relying on seasonal freight swings We are taking a good care of equipment at our own shop. We run HOS by the book. Van driver for a Special Education School (san rafael)
Star Academy, a small non-public school for students with learning disabilities, needs a van driver. Applicants must have a clean DMV record, must clear DOJ and FBI fingerprinting, must have a TB clearance, and must be sensitive to the special needs of our population. We have students from all over the Bay Area who we transport to our school in San Rafael. This particular need is for a driver to transport 5 students at a time to Berkeley/Oakland on days school is in session. The driver would start in San Rafael, driving one of our newer and well-maintained vans, pick up students, and then drive them home in the afternoon. The pay for these routes depends on the destination, this route pays $77.00 per day. Approximate drive time is 2.5 hours. There is potential for additional routes. Pay is determined by the route. This is a contract position so that means drivers are paid per trip. Drivers are expected to be reliable, responsible, to be able to communicate clearly and respectfully with the Transportation Coordinator, with parents, with school staff, and above all, with students, and to maintain student safety at all times. Requirements: Must be proficient with computer software (Cummins, Detroit, Cat, Isuzu Motors, Bendix, Waltco, Palfinger, etc.) to diagnose problems, be able to solve complex electrical problems, and read electrical schematics. Must be able to obtain DBIDS, TWIC, and CDL. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects and materials, often exceeding 50 pounds. Physical stamina to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods during the workday. Capability to climb ladders or scaffolding to reach high places and work under vehicles.
