27-year-old woman living with cerebral palsy in her own apartment in the City of Alameda is seeking a personal care attendant(s) for the following shifts Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Wednesday overnights 11pm-7am Sunday 8am-1pm Saturday, Sunday 4p-7pm The overnight shift is awake to assist with repositioning; restroom needs or emergencies should they arise. She needs minimal assistance during transfers between her wheelchair to bedside commode and back. Full assistance with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living such as dressing, and sponge bathing, support for menses hygiene, repositioning. During daytime hours, she would like support for laundry, meal preparation and clean-up and light housekeeping. She wants someone who has the patience needed to teach her new skills and who can help solve problems to learn new tasks that may seem outside her range of current abilities. She wants to learn how to be as independent as possible. IHSS enrollment is a plus. There may be a combination of IHSS hours and agency funded hours. Full time agency employees are eligible for medical benefits with a dental plan, vacation time, 401k participation. Join our team of dedicated and skilled apartment professionals! We seek a motivated and dependable individual with property management experience and a desire to provide quality customer service. RESPONBSIBILITIES: - Processing rents, security and other deposits - Ensuring timely turnover and minimal vacancies - Service and enforcement of evictions - Scheduling service and maintenance requests - Ensuring timely completion of all duties by staff - Daily inspection of common areas, grounds and parking lots - Inspecting apartments for market-ready condition - Ensuring timely vacating of apartments - Inspecting vacated apartments - Approving vendor invoices and reviewing invoices to ensure accuracy - Handle tenant issues and address after-hour emergencies as needed - Assure compliance with laws and regulations; interface with code-enforcement and other gov't agencies - Perform any other tasks as requested by the regional property manager REQUIREMENTS: - At least two years of property management experience, residential preferred - High School diploma or equivalency certificate - Valid driver's license and insured operable vehicle - Proficiency with Yardi Voyager, Excel and MS office - Excellent oral and written communication - Self-starting, attention to detail, excellent organization and problem-solving skills - Be a team player and treat others with respect - Must be bilingual English/Spanish (complete reading, writing and spoken fluency)
