GAC Enterprises, LLC is a well-established telecommunication construction company looking for a Telecom Project Manager to join our New Mexico team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory requirements and safety standards. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. They will work closely with clients, and contractors, to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction, and will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is a salaried position, with work times to be determined by the needs of the project and company. In addition, the Project Manager will receive and be responsible for a Company vehicle, Cell Phone, Laptop, and Company Credit Card. All items are subject to audit and are to be used for the strict and sole purpose of performing job functions. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets Set project milestones and monitor progress toward goals Resolve conflicts and identify potential risks or issues Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Prepare project reports and present updates to clients and management Work with field supervision to manage project risk and give direction based on information Deal with day-to-day customer interactions to ensure project needs Perform weekly audits on a project to verify progress, ensure quality, and meet forecast projections Hold weekly Project overview meetings with the field team Audit all project closeout packages to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables to the customer Ensure field personnel is adhering to all company policies and procedures Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance Travel as needed Additional duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field 5-8 years of experience in construction management or related field Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques Strong communication and leadership skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to read engineering drawings Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. The Assistant Project Manager leads work alongside our Project Operations and Field Management to foster great client relationships, develop our employees, and oversee the safe construction of high quality, profitable, and on schedule projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead by example in adherence to Quality and Safety Programs Communicate productively with clients’ regarding overall project status updates as needed with assistance from PM Comfortable leading Internal, Client and Subcontractor meetings, providing meeting minutes and follow ups as needed Familiarize themselves with all requirements and exhibits of the EPC contracts Maintain internal trackers for quantity and production tracking Assist PM with all necessary finance functions such as: client billings, project forecasting, risk analysis, vendor/subcontractor payments, change management, and self perform analysis. Participate in CPM schedule reviews and maintain schedules to ensure timely completion of all milestones. Collaborate with project controls to identify critical paths, flag delays, and adjust resources. Assist PM in procurement process, scoping, and contracting of subcontractors and vendors. Responsible for management of subcontractors and vendors, including but not limited to; contract management, change management, notifications regarding Quality or EHS deficiencies and weekly subcontractor meetings.
