We are accepting applications to join our service/maintenance teams at our Baldwinsville apartment community in the position of Service Technician. Our maintenance teams are responsible for the overall maintenance and physical condition of the apartments including work orders, preventive maintenance, apartment turns and grounds. The successful candidates will be High School Graduates (or equivalent), have a minimum of 3 years maintenance or skilled trade experience, working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing and carpentry and working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds for a limited distance on occasion, complete tasks up to 2nd story of building exteriors and be able to complete tasks in all apartment homes regardless of location. Saturdays and on-call rotation required. Equipment Mechanic (Homer, NY) General Description: This position will be responsible for maintenance and general repairs on all types of; heavy, medium, light-duty, gas, & diesel vehicles, equipment and trailers. Complete set of hand tools to effectively get the work accomplished. Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components. The ability to read and comprehend required paperwork such as work orders, repair manuals, wiring schematics, drawings. Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, & electrical problems. Experience operating equipment preferred. Work well with others Valid driver’s license. CDL driver's license NOT required but preferred.
