Position Overview: We are seeking a Yard Goat Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely moving trailers in and out of dock doors, staging areas, and designated yard positions to ensure the smooth flow of operations. Responsibilities: - Operate yard goat to move trailers within the yard and to dock doors. - Inspect equipment before and after operation to ensure safety and compliance. - Communicate with warehouse and dispatch teams for trailer placement needs. - Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment in compliance with company policies. - Perform additional yard, warehouse or basic mechanic duties as assigned. Requirements: - Valid Class A CDL (preferred but not always required for yard-only work). - Previous experience as a Yard Goat, Hostler, or similar role. - Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission. - Strong attention to safety and detail. - Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude. Schedule & Pay: - Full-time position, shifts may vary (day, swing, or night). - $18-20/hour, depending on experience
