Contruction workers wanted. The Environmental Technician performs tasks including non-emergency and emergency response activities involving confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, tank vacuuming, environmental cleanup, waste handling, decontamination, sweeping and shoveling, pressure washing and various other remedial activities. Duties/Responsibilities: • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adhere to all safety procedures. • Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift. • Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights. • Operates light and heavy equipment not limited to Forklifts, Aerial Lifts, Boom Lifts, Skid Steers, Excavators, Pressure washers, pumps, and other company work vehicles. • Attends mandatory training to earn certifications and to obtain information specific to responsibilities. • Ensures all proper paperwork is completed, signed and submitted. • Work up to a standard 40 hour work week with potential for overtime due to emergency response needs.
