Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all apartment units, common areas, and building systems remain in excellent condition through daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative care. Primary Responsibilities Include: • Perform routine repairs in occupied and vacant apartment units (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and minor carpentry) • Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues with efficiency and professionalism • Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner • Maintain clean and safe common areas, including pool deck, fitness center, and laundry facilities • Assist in unit turnovers: painting, patchwork, flooring repairs, and appliance installations • Monitor and maintain property curb appeal by ensuring grounds are clean and orderly • Communicate effectively with property management team regarding repair needs and supply inventory • Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year of hands-on property maintenance experience preferred (apartment or hotel experience is a plus) • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance • Ability to work independently and problem-solve with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management • Must be reliable, professional, and take pride in quality workmanship • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred We Offer: • Competitive hourly pay (DOE) • Consistent full-time schedule • Friendly and professional work environment • Opportunity for growth and long-term employment How to Apply: 📞 Call us at 858-458-0411

BARRINGTON APARTMENTS Weekend hours: On-call as needed The Maintenance/Service Technician reports directly to the Service Manager and is responsible for performing make-ready repairs to all vacant units prior to move-in.
