Assistant IT Budget Analyst/Coordinator – Long Beach Sierra Cybernetics is seeking an Assistant IT Budget Analyst/Coordinator to work for us supporting our Port of Long Beach client. You will provide administrative, budgetary, and IT coordination support under limited supervision in a fast-paced public sector environment. Position is full-time, fully on-site in downtown Long Beach. You must be a US citizen or green card holder. Key Responsibilities • Process vendor invoices, track budgets, and monitor contract spending • Create and maintain financial tracking spreadsheets and purchase orders • Assist with procurement and vendor remittance updates • Draft memos, reports, and presentations for executive review • Use City financial systems (MUNIS, Simpler Reports) • Support CIO and coordinate across departments and vendors • Maintain organized electronic records and documentation Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, finance, communication, or related field (experience may substitute year-for-year) • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Familiarity with public sector financial or IT environments a plus • Desirable: ITIL Foundation Certification Note: Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree on a year-for-year basis
