Hawaii Life is a leading real estate brokerage in the state of Hawaii and we are looking for an individual with the drive, commitment, and work ethic to join our team. *** This is NOT a remote position. This requires the individual to work in our Kilauea office. The individual must physically be on the island of Kauai. REQUIRED SKILLS: Bookkeeping - Conduct reconciliation of various company accounts - Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner - Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments - Conduct data entry and administrative duties - Perform account receivable/payable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition - Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data - Support month-end and year-end close process - Assist in preparation of documents for audits - Adept in using bookkeeping tools to enter financial transactions - Familiar with accounting and bookkeeping industry standard business practices - Excellent oral and written communications skills - High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and organization - Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Rentals Reservations - Field vacation rental inquiries via phone and email - Help customers with rental properties based on their needs, preferences, and budgetary allowances - Process payments and sends confirmation details to customers. - Provide follow-up on bookings and related inquiries WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE - This is a full-time position where the employee is required to be physically present at our Kilauea Kauai office. - Standard office work hours are 9am-5pm, Monday thru Friday. Some evenings and weekends as needed.
