*** Shipping & Receiving Specialist *** Location: Monahans, TX (moving facility to Odessa, TX) Schedule: 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (open for discussion) Hours: 40-45 per week (occasional weekend work) Compensation: $25–$27 per hour (depending on experience) Position Type: Full-time, on-site Reports To: Procurement Manager **Overview** An established and growing industrial services company is seeking a **Shipping & Receiving Specialist** to support daily warehouse and logistics operations at our facility. This position plays a vital role in ensuring materials and equipment are received, organized, and distributed accurately and efficiently to support ongoing projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, teamwork, and safety are top priorities. **Key Responsibilities** * Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness. * Prepare and process outgoing shipments in accordance with company and customer specifications. * Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all materials are properly tagged, labeled, and stored. * Coordinate with project teams, field personnel, and vendors to ensure timely material deliveries. * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and effectively. * Keep the warehouse, yard, and shipping/receiving areas organized and clean. * Support procurement and logistics teams with material tracking, data entry, and documentation. * Utilize ERP or inventory software systems for receiving, tracking, and reconciliation. * Conduct periodic cycle counts and assist with inventory audits. * Use company shop truck for local deliveries and pickups as needed (non-CDL). **Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent (required). * Minimum experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations. * Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. * Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; ERP or inventory systems experience preferred). * Excellent communication and organizational skills. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work. **Additional Details** Company Vehicle: Shop truck available for company use only Work Location: Position is based on-site at the facility. Schedule Flexibility: Occasional weekend may be required based on project needs. Travel: No long-haul or overnight travel required. MVR: must hold a current driver's license and be able to pass an MVR.
