Seeking a kind, patient, and reliable companion caregiver for an older adult with mild dementia and some balance issues. He enjoys watching TV, reading, and conversation. The main goal is to provide companionship and light supervision to help keep him safe and engaged. This is a light-duty companion/sitter role — no heavy lifting or personal care required. DUTIES: • Sit with client and offer friendly conversation or engagement • Play simple games or do light activities together • Provide reminders if he forgets where things are • Offer minimal balance assistance if needed • Ensure a calm, safe, supportive environment REQUIREMENTS: • Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality • Experience with seniors or dementia care a plus (not required) • Good communication and listening skills • Must be reliable and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule • Male or female applicants welcome SCHEDULE & PAY: • One fixed day per week (3 hours) – flexible on which day • Option to add hours up to 12 per week • Pay: $18 – $20 per hour, depending on experience
