This role involves working closely with our Paint Department Manager to create state-of-the-art set pieces, props, and other scenic elements that enhance aesthetics of events. A keen eye for detail, quick-paced execution, and experience with chip/foam brushes, rollers, sandpaper, variety of paints, shellac, stains, lightweight body-filler (bondo), hot-mix (plaster), and other often-used prep/finish materials is advantageous for success in this position. Responsibilities: -Work with Paint Department Manager to execute prep/finish design concepts into scenic elements. -Execute prep/painting techniques on various materials, including wood, fabric, foam, acrylics, and metal, ensuring high-quality finishes. -Operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols during construction painting tasks. -Assist in fabrication processes as needed for set installations. -Participate in moving set pieces as needed between departments; set construction, to support overall production needs. -Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all materials are properly stored after use. Skills: -Experience in prep/finish/paint techniques in fabrication. -Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during set construction and installation processes. -Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments. Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Vmix Operator to join our on-site and on-air production team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in live video production, understands the cannabis movement, and can confidently manage technical workflows using VMix. We would love for you to be able to join the conversation on the show through the control room. You’ll be supporting live or pre-recorded shows twice a week, ensuring smooth broadcasts, transitions, overlays, sound, and visuals. Key Responsibilities: Operate Vmix software during live and pre-recorded productions. Set up and test audio/video inputs, camera feeds, and graphics before each session. Monitor and manage real-time switching between scenes, media, and sources. Ensure visual and audio quality meets production standards. Troubleshoot technical issues on the spot during live shows. Collaborate closely with the production team, hosts, and guests during sessions. Export and back up recorded content as needed after each session. Qualifications: Prior hands-on experience using Vmix for video production is required. Solid understanding of multi-camera setups, audio mixers, and streaming outputs. Strong technical problem-solving skills under time pressure. Experience with chroma keying. Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented. Willing to work on-site in our studio. A general understanding of the cannabis industry. Must be available every Tuesday and Thursday. Preferred Skills (Bonus): Knowledge of other broadcast tools (OBS, Zoom, audio mixers). Basic post-production or video editing experience. Willingness to join the conversation through the control room. Be a member of the show.
