This used and reusable electronics project box, 7” tall, 10.5” wide, 7.5” deep (including front and rear mounting flanges), is made of very solid steel, except for the instrument panel on top, which is brushed aluminum. This box has a number of holes in it of various sizes, mostly quite small. They can be helpful for mounting new components or they can be easily plugged—or simply ignored. They are confined to the top plate (3 of them), the back, and the bottom. Front and sides are intact. The bottom of the box is solid steel, and there are mounting flanges front and rear for screwing the box down to a desk or counter. The flanges are welded on so that the bottom of the box sits a little above the counter; any screw heads you allow to project from the bottom of the box should clear the countertop. Weighs 6.5 pounds. Not likely to tip over even if you don’t screw it down. Photos show actual item. No mad scientist or steampunk should be without it!
