Participants needed for a Research Study on Sleep and Circadian Rhythms Does your high schooler have a hard time falling asleep before 1 a.m. and waking up early in the morning/for school? Do you have trouble falling asleep before 1 a.m.? We are looking for males and females, ages 16-30 to participate in a study at the Sleep and Chronobiology Lab at the University of Colorado Boulder. The purpose of the study is to understand mechanisms of Delayed Sleep Wake Phase Disorder (DSWPD). This study will improve our understanding of circadian rhythms in humans and may help us to create treatments and strategies for DSWPD. She has dementia and needs help with: - keeping blood pressure within designated range - measuring blood pressure accurately - ensuring that she takes medication daily - fall prevention, support when walking - encouragement to be active, walks around the block - cleaning house - laundry - light meal prep, keeping her on a healthy diet Serious candidates only please. Currently, this is not a live-in position. The bulk of our caregivers are paid through the state IHSS program, at a rate of 17.70$ an hour. Sick leave is also provided as an extra bonus.You must have a Social Security card as it is paid through the state. They require you to complete a brief, in-person training and background check before you can get paid. These are held infrequently. If you are comfortable with waiting to get paid, you can start working before completing the in-person event. They will pay you retroactively up to 90 days.
