Azure Network engineer - Contract

**This is a hybrid role that will require regular presence on-site at the client location around Cambridge, MA. **This position is not eligible for relocation assistance** The Informatics Delivery Manager (DM) is primarily accountable for fulfilling all contractual obligations for Zifo related to our customer engagements. This role is the realization of the ‘one hand to shake’ concept that would allow both the customers as well as the internal Zifo stakeholders to work with one primary point of contact for all the servicing needs for the specific engagement. The DM will provide strategic and technical leadership, as well as the consulting and program / project management skills required to analyze customer needs and opportunities to ensure Zifo successfully delivers a solution meeting the customer's objectives and goals. Requirements Responsibilities Overall accountability for the successful delivery of all projects and Zifo services in the engagement and ensure all service delivery contractual obligations are met Govern Project Health by using metrics-based health checks, perform Corrective and Preventive actions for any deviations, do follow-ups and follow throughs Chair Engagement Steering committee and other operational meetings including senior leadership from the customer and Zifo. POSITION SUMMARY: The Database Technician supports Tribal participation in major infrastructure projects by overseeing database management, project coordination, and financial tracking under the supervision of the Project Manager. This role ensures accurate data integration for regulatory compliance, environmental review, and engineering assessments while maintaining financial records, procurement oversight, and logistical support. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will: • Maintain GIS databases, environmental records, and regulatory documentation while ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of project-related data. • Provide administrative support for final presentations and compiling and submitting reports to federal, state, and Tribal partners. • Track cultural resource impact assessments to support preservation efforts. • Work alongside the Project Manager to ensure alignment between field operations and administrative workflows. • Coordinate daily database operations with the Tribal Civil Engineer and Natural Resources Department Director. • Provide logistical support to engineering review teams, environmental monitors, and cultural resource specialists. • Assist in processing timesheets, staffing requests, and equipment mobilization as part of the Tribal team’s participation in the project. • Monitor funding allocations, ensuring Tribal participation remains cost-effective and compliant. • Prepare financial summaries and expenditure reports for leadership review. • Assist with grant administration, procurement approvals, and budget forecasting for preconstruction and construction phases. • Maintain contract agreements and financial records aligned with DOT & PF and Tribal financial requirements. • Ensure all regulatory filings, permits, and compliance documentation are properly maintained. • Assist Tribal Civil Engineer and Project Manager in reviewing engineering plans, geotechnical data, and cultural resource findings. • Contribute to weekly and bi-weekly Tribal team meetings, assisting in progress tracking and interagency coordination. Works closely with the users and technology workstreams to identify requirements. Prepares cost estimates for staff resources, vendors, consultants, hardware, and service costs (i.e. WAN, Internet, voice circuits, etc.) Develop project plans, define team deliverables, and supervise the work of various team members. Conduct all aspects of project initiation, planning, execution, and closure for projects. Manage issues, risks, change controls, and status reporting. Provide technical insights and advice to customer stakeholders for the project’s planning & execution. Recognize any potential opportunities, risks, or complications at the customer side. Inform TTS-US upper management to make action plans for TTS-US to expand its business opportunities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree  Japanese/English bilingual  3+ years of hands-on work within large-scale enterprise networking environments.  Fundamentals of Networking and demonstrated experience supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.  Good level understanding of TCP/IP routing and switching, along with network design best practices (CCNP Level)  Good level understanding of dynamic routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.), Network Security (Firewall, NAC, etc.), Switching topologies on both Wired/Wireless networks, and Cloud/Virtual networking.
