Key Responsibilities:  Execute manual and automated testing for smart home products, including cameras, smart plugs, bulbs, and robot vacuums, etc. Test device connectivity with cloud platforms and mobile apps. Assist in log collection and analysis for debugging purposes. Participate in or assist with Local Test & Beta Test, collect user feedback, and follow up on reproducing issues. Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot and debug issues. Document test cases, results, and bug reports. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in software or consumer electronics testing. Basic knowledge of networking protocol (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi,  Bluetooth, etc.) Basic knowledge of networking issue debug methods. Familiarity with test case design and execution. Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to effectively collaborate with different teams. Additional Skills (Preferred): Knowledge of smart home ecosystems (Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit). Familiarity with test automation tools and continuous integration technologies Deep understanding of user experience, attention to detail, and ability to think and analyze problems from a user perspective. Perform end-to-end testing of smart home ecosystems, including device-to-cloud connectivity, mobile app integration, and voice assistant compatibility. Conduct wireless performance testing (Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Thread, Matter) and debug connectivity issues. Mentor junior QA engineers, drive process improvements Lead the Local Test & Beta Test, collect user feedback, and follow up on reproducing issues. Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot and debug issues. Simulate media evaluations to ensure that the test results meet expectations. Requirements Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in QA/testing for smart home products or consumer electronics Able to explore and understand product user scenarios and installation methods. Strong knowledge of wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Thread, Matter, Bluetooth). Strong problem analysis and solving skills, able to independently complete testing tasks. Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to effectively collaborate with different teams. Additional Skills (Preferred): Hands-on experience with IoT automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, Shell, MQTT scripting). Experience with voice assistant integrations (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit). Knowledge of robotics testing (Lidar, SLAM navigation for robot vacuums). Possesses extensive experience in the installation of traditional electrical products. DaVinci AV delivers customized smart home and AV solutions backed by white-glove service—from consultation to installation and ongoing support. The Role We’re seeking a hands-on AV Installation & Sales Technician who can deliver high-quality smart home and audio-visual solutions for our clients. The role focuses on installation and technical expertise—from wiring and mounting to system setup and troubleshooting—while also engaging with clients during consultations and helping shape solutions that fit their needs. Some sales and proposal work is part of the role, but your main responsibility is ensuring seamless installations and exceptional customer experiences. This position is full-time and requires regular travel throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to meet clients on-site and complete installations in homes and businesses. Responsibilities AV & Smart Home Installation – Install and configure home theaters, TVs, speakers, audio systems, whole-home Wi-Fi, smart lighting, climate control, automation, and security systems with professional cabling and setup. Client Consultation & Support – Meet with clients to assess needs, recommend tailored solutions, train them on system use, and provide ongoing technical support. Relationship Building – Deliver high-quality work that builds trust, strengthens client relationships, and generates referrals to grow the business. Qualifications Experience & Skills – Sales background in smart home/AV tech with solid technical knowledge of networking, AV systems, and low-voltage wiring; industry certifications or platform experience (Lutron, Control4, Ubiquiti, etc.) a plus. Professional Qualities – Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset, able to manage projects independently, stay organized, and maintain accurate documentation. Requirements – Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and industry tools (hand tools, testers, power tools) preferred. Job Description Mandatory skills: • 8+ years’ experience in API & UI automation – Selenium, Java, Rest assure, JMeter • 5+ years’ experience in TestNG framework • 3 + cross platform mobile app development using Appium framework (Good to have) • Familiar in creation, maintenance of Test agents, pipeline and troubleshooting build failures is a plus • 3+ years’ experience with Java • 3+ years of experience with Android Studio and VS • Good understanding of Git(sub modules) • Must have Cloud experience like Azure or AWS • JIRA exposure is a must • Bachelor’s degree, or advance degree in Computer Science, or MS • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing Environment • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment • Meticulous and methodical with high attention to detail • Out of box thinker and go getter attitude to solve problems and innovate rapidly • Solid communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance • Experience in CI/CD tools, frame works • Experience in Health Care industry and medical domain experience is a plus
