Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes, loaders, excavators, dump trucks, etc. for multiple project applications. Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure equipment is safe and functional. Excavate, grade, and level earth in preparation for construction using appropriate techniques. Communicate effectively with ground crew using hand signals and radios for safe operations. Maintain equipment by performing minor maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to minimize workplace hazards. Support project completion by assisting with other tasks as assigned by the site supervisor. Heavy construction experience and work site digging. Requirements Qualifications At least 3-5 (Willing to pay more for 5-10 years) years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction or a related field. Proven knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operations. Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and project specifications. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Valid driver's license; certification in heavy equipment operation is a plus. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads at construction sites and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating cranes, possess excellent communication skills, and prioritize safety in all operations. Key Responsibilities: Operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and load charts to determine the most effective lifting methods. Communicate clearly and effectively with ground crew members using hand signals and two-way radios. Monitor load weights and hydraulic pressure during operations to avoid overload. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cranes and equipment as necessary.
