Fortrend Engineering is seeking 2x Electro-Mechanical Assemblers to join our Manufacturing and testing Department to build and test automation Equipment for the Semiconductor industry including but not limit to Wafer and Mask/Reticle handling robots, automated shipping box openers, SMIF pod and FOUP openers, Mask/Reticle transfer systems, and EFEM's. Excellent communication skill, strong electro-mechanical assembly and test skills are a PLUS. Position requires experience in building, testing and integrating electro-mechanical equipment into the final products, you are also required the ability to debug the operational issues, repair equipment to factory manufacturing standards. You will be working with Manufacturing, Electrical and Mechanical engineers, technicians, vendors, sales, marketing and other engineering personnel. Responsibilities: - Build sub-assembly parts such as cables, mechanical assemblies, pneumatic assemblies..etc. - Perform final testing of outgoing sub-assemblies - Mechanical assembly of products, keep tracking of inventory and product quality testing. - Read Engineering drawings and electrical schematics - Follow assembly instructions. - Red Line existing documentation relating to assembly, testing and repair - Other duties assigned - Lift up to 25lbs. Required Skills: - Independent, self-motivated personality with strong communication skills and problem solving attitude. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings - Working knowledge of MS Office and proficient with Word and Excel. Qualification - H.S. Degree or equivalent with 2-4 years manufacturing experience
