SUMMARY Location: Downtown San Jose (a few blocks south of the SAP Center) Schedule: Monday – Wednesday, 9am–3pm (with opportunity for additional hours as we grow) Pay: $20–22/hour (W-2 position) Type: Part-time employee (authorization to work in the U.S. required) ///\\\ About Us - We are a small, locally owned and operated commercial laundry that has proudly served medical offices, dental practices, and spas in the Bay Area for over 27 years. What You’ll Do You’ll help make sure our clients always receive clean, well-presented linens. Key duties include: - Sorting and Counting Laundry: Open client bags, count and identify items (e.g., gowns, sheets, towels) by client. - Washer Operation: Load and balance commercial washers, add soap correctly, and follow standard wash programs. - Dryer Operation: Choose proper temperature settings for different materials and ensure even drying. - Folding and Packaging: Fold, organize, and prepare laundry for delivery. - Team Support: Work with other operators to meet daily production goals and maintain a clean, efficient workspace. - Attention to Detail: Follow standard procedures to ensure every load is clean, correctly labeled, and handled safely. What We’re Looking For - Positive attitude and reliable work ethic — we value cultural fit over experience. - English language skills are required (reading, writing, and speaking). - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (bags of laundry or boxes). - Comfortable working in a production environment with washers, dryers, and folding tables. - Willingness to learn and grow as the business expands. - Closed-toe shoes required; casual dress code.
