You enjoy working with people, having the heart to serve your community to safely and efficiently transport the elderly and disabled population? IF you have an excellent driving record (CDL preferred, but not required), you really want to serve people in need, can pass a background check and drug test, this MAYBE the work you are looking for. I am a new NEMT (Non Emergency Medical Transportation) contractor for the Trimet Lift Program in need of a DEPENDABLE/ PROFESSIONAL/MATURE/CUSTOMER SERVICE FOCUSED/DRUG FREE individual for one day a week or even "on call" for my medical appointments and/surgeries. The on-boarding process for Trimet is meticulous so ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. This process can take up to 30 days before you can begin working under my license. I have NO CONTROL over any of the Do's and DON'Ts under my contract. This is NOT an hourly paid gig. You will be paid a flat rate per trip performed in my leased van. I offer NO BENEFITS etc. This work REQUIRES A 10 HOUR SHIFT: 6am-430pm (Fridays) NO WEEKENDS. You do get a 30 minute lunch break. You are REQUIRED TO USE YOUR CELLPHONE. The work also REQUIRES A 100% BLACK UNIFORM (Not issued by me nor Trimet). This means you are REQUIRED TO ONLY WEAR 100% BLACK FROM HEAD TO TOE INCLUDING SOLES OF SHOES. Upon successful on-boarding you will be issued a safety vest and badge under my license. This position is a 1 day 10 hour shift. I have my own van. You drive to my home and pick it up. Shift is 6am-430pm with a 1/2hr lunch. This position OFFERS NO BENEFITS. You get paid a per trip rate of $18. There is no guarantee number of trips because dispatch is not a part of my company. The work you perform is rewarding because you are making it possible for the elderly and disabled to get to their necessary appointments and other life obligations that otherwise wouldn't be accomplished.
