Fast growing Workers’ Defense Compensation law firm looking for an experienced Full-Time Legal Assistant. 100% Work from Home. You must be a self-starter who is a team player. Applicant MUST have a minimum of 2 years Workers' Compensation legal office experience. The candidate must possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Advanced computer skills including MS Office and Adobe. Experience with MerusCase a plus. Ability to multi-task with excellent time management. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Work cases from inception to completion. - Open, file and amend applications. - Full working knowledge of EAMS filings - File and serve documents - Maintain contact with client, defense firm, carrier, primary doctor and DWC. - Review, draft and respond to correspondence. - Review and evaluations of client files. - Doctor, AME and Panel QME coordination. - Rating of cases. - Prepare files for hearing and trials - Drafting and organization of position letters. - Miscellaneous responsibilities such as intake and reception Please submit a resume with salary requirements.
