Lot Attendant / Entry-Level Mechanic – Used Car Dealership Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and dependable Lot Attendant / Entry-Level Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for managing vehicles from purchase through preparation for sale. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with detailing, performing light mechanical work, assisting with diagnostics, photographing vehicles, and ensuring that the lot is well-organized and visually appealing at all times. A key duty will be to make sure all vehicles are ready for Virginia State Safety Inspection before being offered for sale. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Vehicle Preparation & Maintenance o Perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance (oil changes, brakes, suspension, air conditioning, etc.). o Conduct vehicle diagnostics and report findings to management. o Ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and in top condition for resale. o Inspect and prepare all vehicles to meet Virginia State Safety Inspection requirements. • Detailing & Presentation o Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles inside and out. o Touch up and polish vehicles for display quality. o Take professional photos of vehicles for online listings. • Inventory Management o Track vehicles from acquisition through reconditioning until ready for sale. o Maintain records of service, repairs, and detailing work completed. o Coordinate with the office and sales team regarding vehicle readiness. • Lot Organization o Ensure vehicles are parked neatly and displayed attractively. o Keep the lot clean, organized, and safe for customers and employees. o Regularly check vehicles for cleanliness, battery charge, and overall condition. • General Support o Assist with transporting vehicles to/from auction, vendors, or DMV as needed. o Support dealership operations by performing additional tasks assigned by management. ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Prior experience in basic automotive repair and auto detailing. • Familiarity with tools and equipment for oil changes, brake service, and general automotive work. • Strong attention to detail with pride in workmanship. • Ability to multitask and keep track of multiple vehicles in inventory. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. ________________________________________ Work Environment & Schedule: • Full-time position with standard dealership hours (Saturdays are required). • Work is primarily outdoors on the lot with shop/garage work as needed. ________________________________________ Compensation & Benefits: • Hourly wage based on experience. • Opportunity to gain hands-on automotive repair experience. • Potential for advancement within the dealership. • Paid time off and other benefits available after probationary period.

Position Overview: The Construction Crew Member will assist in the execution of construction projects under the supervision of the Foreman and other project leaders. This role involves performing a variety of tasks on construction sites, including manual labor, operating tools and equipment, and ensuring the site is clean and safe. The Construction Crew Member will work collaboratively with the team to complete projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. General Labor: o Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment. o Assist in the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures, scaffolding, and other site installations. o Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment. 2. Site Preparation and Cleanup: o Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring the area is safe for work. o Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing waste, unused materials, and hazardous items. o Follow proper waste disposal procedures to comply with environmental and safety regulations. 3. Tool and Equipment Operation: o Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery under the guidance of the Foreman or experienced crew members. o Assist in the setup and operation of heavy machinery as needed. o Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. 4. Material Handling: o Transport materials to and from the jobsite as directed. o Assist in the accurate measurement, cutting, and preparation of materials for construction tasks. o Ensure materials are stored properly to prevent damage or loss. 5. Safety and Compliance: o Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. o Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. o Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near-misses to the Foreman immediately. 6. Team Collaboration: o Work cooperatively with other crew members, Foremen, and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently. o Follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. o Assist other crew members as needed to meet project deadlines. 7. Quality Assurance: o Perform tasks with attention to detail to ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications. o Report any issues or defects in materials or workmanship to the Foreman. Qualifications: • Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions. • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and follow instructions. • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols. Work Schedule: • Standard Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (40 hours per week). • Overtime: May be required based on project needs and must be preapproved by the Foreman or supervisor.
