Patient Schedule Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm Competencies: • Working knowledge of all aspects of dentistry with a focus on dental hygiene procedures. • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with OSHA and CDC guidelines. • Oral Cancer Screening, Medical History Review & Documentation, Review & Documentation of Disease Presence or Progression. • Removal of hard & soft deposits from supra & subgingival tooth surfaces using EMS Piezon® with Hand scaling. • Teach patients about practicing good oral hygiene to improve their health outcomes. • Periodontal charting, Application of Fluoride Varnish, Placement of Arestin™. • Digital Radiographs using sensor technology. • Dentrix software with clinical charting experience. Requirements: • Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist. • Must have current American Heart Association CPR Certification. • Two years dental hygiene experience preferred. • Local Anesthesia certification is beneficial.
