You will be responsible for setting up and dismantling mobile homes and offices, as well as transporting equipment to various locations, using a company vehicle. Most jobsites are local. (Richmond/Va Beach areas) You will be home every night, but some overnights/out of town jobs are required occasionally. (Hotels and per diem will be covered) To be eligible for this position, you must have a valid driver's license and a clean background. You must also be able to lift 50+ lbs. You must be comfortable with ladders and heights. You must be able to have clearance to do work on government/military bases. The pay rate is $17-$20 an hour depending on your experience. ****** POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED AT THIS TIME ********** Looking for a responsible and detail oriented person during the evenings / nights to clean and wash buses inside and out. Hours will vary depending on when our equipment will be back on our lot and how many need to be cleaned that night. The hours are flexible to fit your schedule (for example, we may have 3 buses that need to be cleaned between the hours of 6pm and 6am and you can come anytime during those hours as long as they are all cleaned by 6am). You will need to be able to drive the buses on our lot in order to pull them up to the wash bay and then park them (We will train you on how to move them around if needed). EXPERIENCE WITH INSTALLATION OF INSULATED METAL PANELS IS A PLUS. Lead & monitor team members to ensure operations flow and work is being performed safely and quality. Work alongside and supervise workers responsible for miscellaneous construction projects. Ensure that crew complies with site rules, safety, and construction standards. Prepare and submit accurate, detailed, written daily reports for the project. Keep the team’s energy and spirits up. Resolve issues between workers or fire employees who don’t pull their weight. Communicate instructions, inspect work, and work side-by-side with their employees to demonstrate techniques or help. Provide assistance to Site Safety, Health, and Substance Abuse Program to ensure the safety and well being of all personnel at the job sites. Maintain communications with Project Manager to ensure proper coordination of the project among the on-site office, job site operations and subcontractors/suppliers for the project. MUST HAVE: Minimum 5 years of Foreman experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor performing general construction work. Experience in supervising/managing employees and motivating them to complete projects on schedule. Knowledge and experienced in carpentry, including but not limited to; metal frame, drywall, doors & hardware, acoustical ceilings, flooring, painting, etc.. Ability to read blue prints and construction plans, maintain equipment and manage paperwork. Good communication, management, and coordination skills. Must have current Driver’s License, OSHA Safety Course Certification, Operator licenses, Red Cross First Aid; and CPR Certification.
