We are a family owned and operated grain-pulse packing facility looking for warehouse team members with great work ethic, the ability to work in a fast paced team environment and/or independently. Position: Full-time - 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday with possibility of occasional overtime. Compensation: $16.66/hour rate with no experience. Compensation is based on job performance. The primary role of this position is to operate the garbanzo cleaning facility. Cleaning months are typically September-April, with operation intermittent at times depending on markets and product availability. When there is not cleaning work to be done, there is work on the farm side of things. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required, looking for someone who is not afraid of hard work. Combining, bank out wagon driving, truck driving, and repairs as needed. September-October (65-80 hrs/wk): Fall field work. This work includes harrowing, seeding, fertilizing, spraying, truck driving and many other tasks to get crops planted and established. Fall tillage to prepare for upcoming spring work. October-December (40 hrs/wk): Cleaning and shipping chickpeas. Overseeing and operating the cleaning, sizing, sorting and packaging equipment.
