We curate a selection of uncommon international and domestic wines, with an emphasis on organic and biodynamic production from small-to-mid-sized producers. Here’s who we’re seeking: YOU + Are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about wine/regions/grapes + Have a firm grasp of grape varietals, regions, pairings, and winemaking fundamentals + Have experience in a wine, or wine-adjacent industry - wine retail, sommelier, fine dining, winebar + Have a friendly, outgoing, customer-first demeanor + Are a good multitasker and self-starter, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and attends to details + Are familiar with the quirks of point-of-sale systems + Enjoy tasting with others, and deep-diving on wine details RESPONSIBILITIES + REQUIREMENTS + Retail sales: assisting our community with selecting wines, and associated food pairings + Cashiering duties + Basic opening and closing retail duties + Physically able to stock/re-stock shelves and lift cases of wine and spirits (40 lbs) + Occasional local deliveries (walking distance) ESSENTIALS + This is a fun job, but it's also a retail job. E.g. evenings, holidays, and weekends all come with the position.
