A&S Engineers is a full-service Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering firm with locations in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, California. We are looking for a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our Walnut Creek office. The person in this position will be responsible for producing construction documents including floor plans, equipment schedules and specifications, managing client expectations throughout the entire life of the project, so they meet the Firm's design and technical standards. This role has regular client interface, including coordinating with utility companies, presentation of project designs and oversight of the construction phase. Design and engineering responsibilities include power distribution systems, grounding, lighting protection, and lighting controls, mostly for commercial buildings. Qualifications • Five years’ experience in the design and documentation of projects. • DSA and HCAI (old OSHPD) experience is a plus. • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is a plus. • Energetic and enthusiastic and adapts to fast-paced environment. • LEED AP is a plus. • California PE registration is a plus.
