Production Graphics / Pre-Press Technician (Denver)

Production Graphics / Pre-Press Technician Blend4 Colorado is hiring immediately for a Production Graphics / Pre-Press Technician with experience in multiple facets of print production. It is important to note that this role is not as a Graphic Designer. This is an operations-production based position. Hours 9-5:30 M-F. Rate of Pay $22-$24.00/hour + Full Benefits Blend4 is a wholesale/trade printing manufacturer specializing in a full range of offset and digital print solutions. We also offer a wide variety of bindery finishing solutions as well as letterpress, die-cutting, foil stamping and embossing. As a Production Graphics / Pre-Press Technician, your role will encompass a full range of prepress responsibilities including Pre-Flighting print files, Imposition, file correction and copy manipulation. There are multiple projects happening all the time. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities will be critical to success for our clients, your team, and your role. Daily aspects of the job include: • File management and preparation for print • Proofing • Imposition • Color management • Typesetting • Light design work Qualified applicants must be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Familiarity with PitStop Pro is a plus. Previous printing industry experience is preferred but is not a requirement!
