Fabricate parts as needed, following established protocols for tooling and machining. Skills Must be able to troubleshoot dimensional issues. Strong mechanical knowledge, including understanding of machine operations and tooling. Ability to handle materials effectively, ensuring safety and efficiency in the workspace. Experience in machining processes, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Attention to detail with a focus on quality control measures. About the Role We produce emulsions that enable cannabis extracts to be infused into beverages, using a proprietary process designed for consistency, stability, and quality. As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and running batches, following established SOPs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements. Training will be provided, but prior production experience in cannabis, food, or beverage manufacturing is strongly preferred. This is a full-time role requiring regular work at a hemp facility in Eliot, ME, as well as our regulated cannabis facility in Georgetown, MA. You will need to pass a background check for licensing at the Georgetown site. Key Responsibilities -Produce cannabis emulsions according to established procedures and quality standards ****Travel regularly between Georgetown, MA and Eliot, ME facilities as needed**** -Communicate effectively with the team regarding production schedules and needs Preferred Background -Prior cannabis production or extraction experience preferred -Background in food, beverage, or kitchen production strongly valued. Overview: Performs TIG Welding on aluminum, stainless steel on flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Duties include: • Read and interpret Prints, Drawings, product documentation, and producing product meeting industry welding standards. • Use Measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers. • Verification of weld according to the customer specifications and the company’s workmanship standards. • Clean and maintain welding equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that equipment is in good working condition and all safety features/precautions are maintained. • Must have the ability to receive and maintain operator self-inspection stamp to meet quality expectations of Metal Works, Inc and the customer. • Notify Management and or Quality when corrective action is required. • Verify that Operation Steps indicated on the Job Traveler have been signed off prior to beginning job. • Complete job travelers, and ensure job paperwork follows parts through the manufacturing process. • Enter labor into manufacturing system via barcode prior to releasing product to the next operation. • Responsible for the quality and adequacy of own work. • Adherence to the Company’s Personnel Policies & Procedures. Knowledge/Skills Ability to follow instructions verbal and or written Maintains accurate and complete records. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift. Lifting capabilities 15-20 lbs repeatedly with maximum lifting of 50 lbs. Education and or Experience High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, technical school certification for welding and at a minimum 1 year welding experience.
