This role is crucial in maintaining our equipment in optimal condition through independent diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Qualifications: • MINIMUM 2 years of professional experience as a small engine mechanic • Clean Florida state driver's license • Must be able to speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish • Experience diagnosing and repairing issues with 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines from brands such as Bobcat, Stihl, Scag, Echo, and other 2-cycle and 4-cycle equipment including blowers, edgers, trimmers, etc. • Clear understanding of proper testing, disassembly, rebuilding, and replacement procedures for parts • Knowledge of maintenance tasks including filters, clean fuel, spark plugs, component cleaning, sharpening, lubrication, etc. • Experience performing preventive maintenance on brands such as Bobcat, New Holland, Kubota, and similar equipment like skid steers, trenchers, mini excavators, etc. is a plus! Proper training will be provided to the right candidate • Welding and/or fabricating parts for repairs is a plus! • Ability to endure Florida weather conditions and physical stamina to work full days, including constant hand use, lifting, and overhead work. Responsibilities: • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire changes, and others on small engines. • Evaluate equipment condition and make repair recommendations. • Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order. • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for each task. • Safety ALWAYS FIRST!
