On both manual and automatic doors. - Have experience working with electronic entry systems, such as mag locks, ADA hardware (operators and buttons) and door closers. - Be able to communicate with customers on-site to preform the work. - Customer service at all levels. We operate vacation homes in the 33948 and 33952 zip code areas and seek a reliable go-to person -- preferably in the vicinity -- to perform (or oversee) repairs, maintenance, upkeep. The usual tasks of property upkeep may entail for example check water gauges -- leaking pipes? clean gutters when necessary perform small repairs like leaking faucets fix leaking, snake clogged pipes purchase materials (like chaises lounges) cut brushes power-wash pool-deck, driveway install/remove pool covers storm preparation: move patio furniture to garage, etc. tidy property after storm, clear debris, furniture back to patio paint interior and/or exterior adjust sticking doors rewire AV, TV install antenna or dish We request that our places be kept in good shape and that our guests not be disturbed if possible. Working hours are completely flexible. When to perform the necessary and required tasks is completely up to our person in charge. However, in (the rare) case of emergency, like a busted pipe, only quick help is good help. Work amounts to maybe a 10 hours a week, but in season less can be done as places are occupied. Our go-to person is usually not supervised, so the ability to do work autonomously is mandatory. Obviously our point person must not be shy with tools, ought to be ready for various types of home repair and improvement, be it basic plumbing -- change a faucet --, basic electric -- change a light bulb, find the faulty breaker --, basic home entertainment -- why don't the TV work?
