Job description POSITION SUMMARY: A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. In addition, a Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes vehicle condition reports on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner. Trucks require constant lifting as well as stepping on and off the truck at each stop. Must have CDL A or B License with air brakes endorsement / no airbrake restriction. 1 year minimum driving experience preferred but not required All accidents and moving violations will be reviewed. Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, MVR and national background screen. Must be able to operate automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of collected material at the designated facilities. Looking for a CDL driver to haul farm products from Moriarty to other cities in New Mexico. Day trips. Paid by the load. Can start immediately. Experience with belt trailers and heavy equipment helpful. Contact us for more information. We are a family farm that delivers corn silage (belt trailer), year round, and alfalfa (flat bed), in the summer and fall, to dairies in New Mexico from the Moriarty area. We haul feed 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This position will require weekend work and early mornings. One or two loads may be hauled in a day depending on the delivery location and season. We drive mostly 2016-2020 Freightliner Casacadias. We use a front end loader to load trailers and the driver is usually responsible for loading and unloading. Loader experience is helpful but not required. A valid class A CDL is required and must be able to be insured by our insurance company. Pay is twice a month, on the 1st and 15th. A W-2 will be provided. Pay is $110/load from Moriarty to Belen area and $205/load from Moriarty to Clovis area.
