Hours are expected to be Friday, Saturday hours within 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm; Sunday hours within 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm; and Monday, Tuesday hours with 6:00 pm to 11:00pm; hours may vary according to the needs of the program. Facilities & Maintenance is committed to providing a safe, secure, healthful environment to all students, staff, and facility occupants. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in floor refinishing (strip/wax) and carpet cleaning. APPLICATION PROCESS: Interviews are tentatively scheduled for November 3, 2025 and are generally conducted by a committee of approximately 3 individuals. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee an interview. LTCC reserves the right to return to the applicant pool at any point during the recruitment process. COMPENSATION: Salary Range: LTCC offers a competitive compensation package that includes a starting placement salary of $19.70 to $21.75 hourly, dependent on education and experience. There is potential to reach $25.24 hourly, through step advancement plus longevity when appropriate. In addition to base salary, this position qualifies for extra bilingual (Spanish), masters or doctorate pay. Benefits: LTCC also matches 27% of an eligible employee’s salary and contributes it into a CalPERS pension account for qualifying employees. Work-Life Balance: LTCC provides a generous leave package including 17 paid holidays per year plus 6 days vacation (with the potential to reach over 12 days through years of service) and 8 days sick leave per year. This position is 20 or 28 hours per week and 12 months per year, including summer and winter hours. Description Definition: Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance & Operations perform grounds, gardening and standard custodial work to clean and maintain buildings and grounds. Representative Duties: Maintain campus grounds; plant, water, cultivate, weed, fertilize, cut and trim lawns, shrubs, trees and flower beds; construct and maintain planter boxes and beds; install, maintain and repair sprinkler and irrigation systems; pick up trash; remove debris; remove snow from walkways, driveways and bike trails; remove ice pack. Clean assigned area; clean restrooms; sweep, mop and wax floors; clean mirrors and windows; clean office areas; empty trash; move, arrange and clean office furniture; vacuum carpets and floors; perform basic maintenance; fix loose carpet, broken windows and doors and make adjustments to equipment as needed; report maintenance and repair problems to supervisor; store equipment and supplies. Common plants, shrubs, trees and grass care and maintenance. Cleaning methods for floors, carpets, furniture, walls and fixtures. Proper safety precautions for chemicals and cleaning supplies used in custodial work. Safe handling of grounds and custodial equipment. Methods and techniques for storing equipment, materials and supplies. Ability to: Clean and maintain college facilities and grounds. Use grounds and custodial materials, equipment and methods safely, efficiently and according to pre-determined standards. Maintain tools and equipment assigned in clean working order. Perform heavy manual labor. Understand and follow oral and written directions. Communicate effectively with others. Learn and apply the rules and regulations of the assigned area. What I need is for someone to check up on the inventory we have in storage there, and report that information back to the corporate office. We have "Bahamas Vacation" official registration locations around the area in local Shopping malls. I need someone to stop by these locations, and make sure the registration stand is in good working order. In most cases they would just need a little TLC. Each locations registration stand should be: * Wiped down clean * Make sure there is a working pen attached to each stand * Make sure there are enough blank entry cards for the customers to fill out * Retrieve all the filled out entry cards from each location * Mail them to our corporate office in Florida An average day should not take more than 6 hours. I cannot express how important it is to us that you take pride in helping us out. That is why we are willing to pay around $20/hr for your assistance.
