Dish Washer- $24.50 average per hour (this includes tips) (Highland Park)

We are looking for a dishwasher at a small but busy breakfast diner. The hours are 8:30 to 2:30. 2 or 3 Days a week. Pay is $16 an hour.

Help with basic food preparation tasks as needed. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform the manager when items need to be reordered. Assist in waste disposal and recycling processes. Requirements: Prior experience in a cashier or dishwasher role is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right candidates. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and a team player. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. While physically demanding, this job is great fun, and will be perfect for the right person. Once the training period is over you get to work without anyone looking over your shoulder, and playing your own choice in music, while you make and bake Rhode Islands best bagels, then clean up and be finished for the night. We are looking for an over-night baker to join our team. The hours for this job are 8 pm until around 4 am, when the baking and clean up is finished. Applicant will need to be able to lift and fill 50+ pound bags of seeds and flours and such. Applicant must be able to operate a hot oven, on their feet for a full shift. After the baking is finished, employee will be responsible for cleaning up the space and equipment to the highest standards. No experience necessary, we will train you! Experience working 3rd shift hours is very helpful Experience working in a commercial kitchen is also helpful the ability to operate a full shift without supervision and hold to standards of quality and cleanliness Understanding of Food Safety Principles This is a very hot, hard working job, but it can be incredibly rewarding to the right person. I will provide training to the right individual. The training period will last approximately 6-10 weeks. Starting wages will be around $20 during the training period and then raises will be rewarded based on skill and quality of products.
