Drum / Percussion Lessons

LANE SANDERS is offering drum lessons in the San Jose / South Bay areas! A little about Lane - He is a San Francisco Bay Area drummer / percussionist, with a BM and MA in Percussion Performance from San Jose State University. His primary work and area of expertise is in musical theater, with recent credits including: Swept Away, Kiss My Aztec, Paradise Square, and Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations (Berkeley Repertory Theatre), Chicago and The Rocky Horror Show (San Jose Stage) and Seth Rudetsky's Concert For America. Lane has also performed in concert with artists such as Alan Cumming, Shoshana Bean, Adam Jacobs, Hal Sparks, and Faith Prince. In addition to musical theater, Lane has a strong background in rudimental percussion. He was a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard, as well as an instructor for the SJSU Marching Band, and has written arrangements and has been on staff for many high school marching band drumlines all over the Bay Area. Orchestrally, Lane has been a guest musician with the San Francisco Opera, Symphony Silicon Valley and the Air Force Band of the Golden West. Lane endorses Innovative Percussion and Dream Cymbals.
