Bassist for roots/Americana band (Brookline)

Bass player here looking for a group of team players with experience in the above genres.If we’re talking r&b let’s keep it to Stax Volt and Motown.If Americana The Texas Tornados/Doug Sahm,Ry Cooder.If rock and roll,as opposed to rock,Chuck Berry,Jerry Lee, Little Richard.Please no Aerosmith,Ratt,Queen,Black Sabath(I respect them just don’t want to cover them).Same with people whose repertoire is Stevie Wonder,followed by a Buddy Guy tune then SRV.All great I just don’t want that sort of band.Chemistry is a huge thing and each player should enjoy backing the others.No egos please.I’ve been playing for 50 years have long passed the 10.000 gig mark.Not into unnecessary travel and realistic about what’s out there as far as money is concerned.Presently I am recording with various song writers but really miss gigs in the right venues for the right reasons/music.It’s not easy out there but if you love roots music with the right players that makes it all worth while.
