Auditioning Gen X Bass/Keys/Guitar (SE Portland)

GEN X Duo seeking 3rd for Synth Pop / Post Punk Trio (SE PDX) We’re currently keys/synth/vox + drums. We’re open to Bass, Synths or Guitar, whatever fills out the sound and makes the magic happen! Inspirations: Depeche Mode, Talk Talk, The Cure, U2, Gary Numan, Echo, Bowie, etc though we aren’t trying to get locked into any specific genre. We're both intermediate players, getting back to music seriously now that the kids are doing their own thing. We've been writing and rehearsing since early spring and are building a 30-minute set of originals with more in the works. Our goal: play live, record, and release music regularly—while we've still got the fire. We're looking for someone who: * Loves this style of music but brings their own influences too * Can play with intention and contribute to the overall sound * Has the time and discipline to prep at home so rehearsals can focus on making music, not learning parts We rehearse weekly at Puddletown Studios in inner SE Portland and split the cost. Practice and performance is a buzz-free zone; any other times, not our business. All races, gender identities welcome! The project is called 33 Spells.
