2nd Trumpet Player Wanted – Join Denver Metro Jazz Big Band (Englewood)

Denver Metro Jazz (DMJ), Denver’s premier community big bands, is looking for a skilled trumpet player to join our trumpet section on the 2nd book with the opportunity to play some lead! We perform 10–12 gigs per year at respected venues around the Denver area, including Dazzle at the Arts Complex — our next big performance on July 28th. Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursdays from 7–9 PM in Englewood. We maintain a high musical standard while fostering a supportive, community-minded atmosphere. To help cover costs for music, rehearsal space, insurance, and administration, band members will pay monthly dues of $80. What We’re Offering: Free membership for June & July for the right trumpet player. A fun, committed ensemble of serious adult players performing swing, modern big band, funk, and Latin charts. What We’re Looking For: Strong section playing and reading skills Ability to commit to weekly rehearsals and performances Positive, collaborative attitude Interested?
