Kitchen Assistant Needed Maplehill School and Farm seeks an experienced kitchen worker for a part-time position preparing meals for an agricultural-based alternative school on three Plainfield community campuses. The position works directly with the Farm-To-Table Coordinator and AmeriCorps staff members. It requires attention to cleanliness and detail, punctuality, and the ability to work with middle- and high-school-age students. Maplehill School is a safe, caring, land-based educational community on 230 acres in central Vermont. Supervised by: Farm-to-Table Coordinator/Kitchen Manager Overall Responsibility: The Kitchen Helper supports the Farm-To-Table Coordinator in preparing meals for students and Maplehill School and Farm staff. This position will work directly with the Farm-To-Table Coordinator and AmeriCorps staff members and often interact with students.
