Given to me and I have no clue on its use. Might be a handy tool for testing batteries on all the new electric motor vehicles that are being now produced. This is a vintage U.S. Army Battery Tester model TS-183B/U. An very interesting military collector’s item and in great condition. Comes with a 1965 technical test data sheet from the Department of the Army, Washington DC. The case is built like a tank. Maybe convert to an ammo box with alterations?
