You’ll actively teach healthier coping strategies, respond to crises, and model positive behaviors. Staff are expected to engage with youth compassionately, maintain detailed documentation, and help foster a safe, clean, and supportive living environment. Key Responsibilities Support Daily Living: Supervise and assist youth with activities including transportation, medical appointments, school, therapy, and life skills. Medication & Safety: Administer medications per MAP certification, complete random drug tests, and run fire drills as scheduled. Team Communication: Relay information across shifts, utilize the On-Call system for support, and report concerns promptly. Training & Compliance: Attend required trainings and track training hours in accordance with program and licensing standards. Qualifications & Competencies High School Diploma required; college coursework or a degree is a plus. Experience working with youth or in a residential setting strongly preferred.
