This entry level position involves deburring and polishing a variety of machined components. Candidates must be able to work well with air and hand tools, have good hand dexterity, and be able to complete repetitive tasks. Starting out in our Deburring Department is a great steppingstone for someone interested in becoming, but does not yet have the experience of, a machinist with our company. The hours are M-Th 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and F 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (You get your 40-hour work week in ... yet can begin your weekend at 11 a.m. on Friday!) Metal Works is growing! We have multiple opportunities available for experienced candidates. The pay is commensurate with experience.  We currently offer a competitive benefits package, 2 bonuses per year, referral bonuses, A/C facilities in the Summer months and we promote within.  This is a full time position and the hours are 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday. Overview: Performs TIG Welding on aluminum, stainless steel on flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Duties include: • Read and interpret Prints, Drawings, product documentation, and producing product meeting industry welding standards. • Use Measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers. • Verification of weld according to the customer specifications and the company’s workmanship standards. • Clean and maintain welding equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that equipment is in good working condition and all safety features/precautions are maintained. • Must have the ability to receive and maintain operator self-inspection stamp to meet quality expectations of Metal Works, Inc and the customer. • Notify Management and or Quality when corrective action is required. • Verify that Operation Steps indicated on the Job Traveler have been signed off prior to beginning job. • Complete job travelers, and ensure job paperwork follows parts through the manufacturing process. • Enter labor into manufacturing system via barcode prior to releasing product to the next operation. • Responsible for the quality and adequacy of own work. • Adherence to the Company’s Personnel Policies & Procedures. Knowledge/Skills Ability to follow instructions verbal and or written Maintains accurate and complete records. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift. Lifting capabilities 15-20 lbs repeatedly with maximum lifting of 50 lbs. Education and or Experience High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, technical school certification for welding and at a minimum 1 year welding experience.

The ideal candidate must know how to operate automatic screen printing machine, prepare screens, and manage the entire screen printing process from setup to finished product.
